Hey, guys!  Since ladywilde80 is being called away from Livejournal for a while, I'm taking over mod duties here.  I have no idea if this is temporary or how long I might be here, but I can help you with anything regarding this comm.  (Ca (sesemperamabo ), the comm founder, is still a mod here, too, but she hasn't been involved for a while, now.)  I know a good many of you, but, for those I don't know, feel free to check out my journal/profile/whatever and judge me however you please. =)

Ok, now that intriductions are out of the way, there are a few orders of business that need to be mentioned.  Firstly, THE HOLIDAY CONTEST DEADLINE IS THE END OF THE DAY ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 1ST, LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY! Remember, you don't need to finish the entire prompt table. Both participation and completion banners will be given. There will also be poll voting from January 2nd - 7th for best of genre and/or prompt. Categories for voting will be determined once all submissions have been received so that they can be balanced, so make sure you tag your entries with the holiday contest 09 tag so that I can find them when I'm rounding up the submissions. Winners of the best of contests will also receive shiny banners.

Speaking of banners, we need people to make them! As far as I can tell, the only person to volunteer so far is themaskedmckay (yay for you!).  It would be great if we could get one or two more people to help.  The participation and table completion banners will be needed by January 2nd, and the best of banners will be needed by the 7th.  Please comment on this entry to volunteer.

As for what's coming up next for the comm, there are a few things.  I'm going to redo the profile, since it hasn't been changed in literally years.  Watch for posts about rec lists and affiliates related to that.  The first couple of weeks in February, leading up to Valentine's Day, will be filled by an anonymous mylar kink meme, which I know a lot of you have been looking forward to.  There's also going to be a competition to design a new community header and/or layout, but there's no set date for that yet.
